I've been blessed not only once, but twice, with my very special, very
handsome boys.....
"Not flesh of my flesh, Nor bone of my bone, But still,miraculously
my own.
Never forget for a single minute, You didn't grow under my heart, But in it. "

Tomorrow it will be 15 years since my precious angel, Tee, passed
from this life to a better one. Oh, how I miss him! I can still remember how soft his skin was and how wonderful
it felt to hold him in my arms...I can still hear those sweet, soft sounds he would make in the early morning. One day
I will see him and hold him and have the great joy of watching him run and jump and play and do all the things he was unable
to do on this earth. Maybe God will allow me to toss a baseball with Tee in that wonderful, great Beyond...maybe we'll
get to sing together and have a "Heavenly jam session"!! For now, I hold closely those precious memories of our life
together and hold fast to the faith that I will indeed see him again.
My life has been filled with joy overflowing by both of these boys!
Now my home is full of noisy BIG guys most of the time, and I spend a lot of time being the taxi service that gets James
to ball games, snowboarding, church youth activities, camp, and all the many events that make our lives full and happy.
James was born exactly 23 months after his Uncle Tee passed away, but still James feels as if he knows Tee, and he's
so wonderful about doing something special each year with me for Tee's birthday (July 30). I am so, so grateful to have
Jamesy in my life! (He also is a great hugger.)
So ... today I sat at the keyboard, thinking about both Tee and Jamesy.
Music of gratitude, joy, sorrow, pain, laughter, tears, and blessing, all mixed together began to find its way from my heart
to my hands. The music playing in the background on this page is the result. There are definitely mistakes.
I didn't write down any notes or chords, and I couldn't play it again if I had to! It's just from my heart, as an expression
of love and thankfulness for all the blessings that God continues to place in my life. Thanks, Lord.....thanks
so much for my beloved Boys.

Treasures Without Price
Precious moments
spent with those the Lord has given to you;
Memories made of
gold, treasures without price.
Hold these hours
in your heart, share the joy and laughter;
For it is in loving
each other we build our lives.
Thank You, Lord…thank You for today;
For a home that we can share together.
Thank You, Lord…and as we work and play
Be the center of our lives forever.
Oh, how quickly
time goes by, we take the days for granted;
Life becomes so
busy, and there’s just so much to do.
Take a moment,
make the time to hold each other closely,
For it’s
in the holding that His love comes shining through.
Thank You, Lord…thank You for today;
For a home that we can share together.
Thank You, Lord…and as we work and play
Be the center of our lives forever.
